ILLINOIS YES SUMMER JOB PROGRAM

The Workforce Connection is seeking employers, including businesses, government agencies and non-profit organizations, to participate in a new program to help put young people into jobs this summer. 

The Illinois YES (Youth Employment for the Summer) program will provide jobs and other work experience to young people between the ages of 16-24 who meet eligibility requirements. State officials anticipate providing a work experience opportunity for as many as 5000 individuals in Illinois.    

There is no cost to participating employers.      The program will be coordinated locally by Rock River Training Corporation.   For more information, call 815-713-7568.
